Volunteers are our most valuable resource for running the Willowbank Community Garden. Anyone who wants to give their time, talent and energy to develop the garden is warmly welcome. Get involved in activities, take on some responsibilities as a root volunteer and share the beneficial, enjoyable and rewarding experience of volunteering. Share your project ideas with us and take on responsibility for the project to make it happen. See the garden as a platform to realize your ideas. It is OUR garden!
If Glasgow University Student, Willowbank resident or Glaswegian urbanite, skilled or unskilled, experienced or inexperienced, just turn up at our garden sessions and offer your helping hands. We also need root volunteers on a regular basis who have or wish to gain experience both in gardening and garden operation. Your task is to help us planning work session, taking on responsibilities and leading groups of ad-hoc volunteers in the weekly garden sessions. Please get in touch via willowbankgarden@gmail.com.
